Neighbors who saw a gap and decided to fill it
Palisades Rebuild Together is a community-led nonprofit in formation, founded by Palisades residents in the aftermath of the January 2025 fire.
Why we exist
The Palisades Fire displaced thousands of households. Some had the savings and coverage to rebuild on their own. Some qualified for income-based assistance. But many families — renters, condo owners, and middle-income homeowners — landed somewhere in between.
For them, the hardest stretch isn't the first few weeks. It's now, when temporary-housing coverage runs out, rebuilds are still months or years away, and the attention has moved on.
We exist so those families don't have to navigate this alone. We connect them with housing, help with insurance and paperwork, legal and financial resources, and a neighbor who keeps showing up.

Your story and situation are yours. We share only what you allow.
Practical over perfect
We focus on what moves a family closer to stable housing this week.
Accountable to the community
Clear governance, open finances, and survivors at the decision-making table.
Our status
We are a nonprofit in formation. We're forming our board, finalizing our fiscal sponsorship or 501(c)(3) application, and building the policies that will govern how we handle survivors' information and donors' money. We'll share updates here as each step is complete.
